Ayurveda in India
We function in Eastern India centered at Ranchi, Jharkhand in association with Amrutha Kerali Panchakarma Centre for the promotion of Ayurveda and medicinal plant researches & usages among the mass. Amrutha Ayurveda Centre is situated in the heart of the city and within 10kms reach from Railway Station and Airport. The surrounding of the centre is maintained greenish, very calm and quiet even though being in the crowd.
Activities at the Ranchi, Jharkhand Training and Treatment Centre
- Clinical practices in Ayurveda and Allopath
- 15 days intensive training in Selected Ayurveda Therapies
- 1 month training in Kerala Panchakarma Treatments
- 6 months or 1 year traineeship for Ayurveda Doctors
- Clinical research on medicinal plants in various diseases
- Survey & documentation of medicinal plants of Jharkhand
- Study & development of medicinal plant cultivation & processing techniques
- Natural health care product development
- Development of medicinal plant database. A software has been developed and partial data entry of over 500 plants is completed
- Public awareness campaign for medicinal plants –under a mission to make "Ranchi The 1st Herbal City"
- Resource station for NGOs for Health and medicinal plant related projects
- Documentation of Traditional knowledge regarding use of Medicinal Plants in rural areas specially that of traditional healers.
- Initiate, organize and help in research projects at various colleges and technical Institutes
- Run an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) “AMRUTHA NAGRIK SWASTHYA MANCH” for creating awareness about plants and its medicinal values among the public and promote kitchen gardens
- Publish & circulate booklets about medicinal plants in the name "AMRUTHA PARIVARIK VANAUSHADHI PUSTHIKA"

- One-year internship at N.R.S. Medical College Calcutta
- One-year house surgeonship at S.S.KM. Hospital, Calcutta
- Managed a 10 bed hospital for 5 years
- Served as a medical Officer in Indo-Tibet Boarder Police for one year
- Managed herbal manufacturing unit for 5 years
